You know how it should feel. We make it exist.

Houston interiors, floral, seasonal and event design.

CGaia Designs is a Houston multidisciplinary design studio led by Christy Gaia, working across interiors, floral, seasonal and experiential design for clients.

Serving Houston, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Sienna and beyond.

Most spaces are decorated. Few are designed.

A room should feel collected rather than simply completed.

We approach every project through layers of color, texture, proportion and unexpected detail, building environments that feel personal rather than prescribed. From a single selection to a complete transformation, each decision is part of the larger composition.

The work is layered, textural and meant to be felt from the doorway. Restraint has its place. It is not the point.

The medium changes. The eye does not.

Most projects are divided among people who never speak.

The florist chooses a palette. The decorator chooses another. The planner holds the calendar. Everyone does their part correctly, and the result still does not hold together, because no one was responsible for the whole thing.

We design across disciplines so that decision is made once. The florals relate to the interiors. The installation respects the architecture. The event does not sit on top of a room, it belongs to it.

One eye. One direction. One person accountable for how it feels when the door opens.

This works best when you want a point of view.

Our clients tend to know how a space or an occasion should feel and want someone to translate that into something they could not have specified on their own. They are drawn to layered, detail-rich environments. They would rather be guided than handed forty options.

If you want something quiet, minimal and restrained, we are probably not the studio for it, and we will tell you early.

“Christy has an incredible ability to walk into a space and immediately see what it could become. Every detail felt thoughtful, elevated, and completely personal to us.”

— Heather W., Houston, TX

“Christy made the entire process feel effortless. She understood our vision almost immediately and brought together details we never would have thought of ourselves.”

— Darlar Family, Missouri City, TX

“The flowers were beyond anything we imagined. Every arrangement felt abundant, artistic, and intentional. Our guests talked about them all evening.”

— Evelyn F., Houston, TX

“Walking into our home after the holiday installation was unforgettable. Everything felt layered, luxurious, and magical without losing the personality of our home.”

— Sarah K., Sugar Land, TX

“From the custom invitations, printed materials, florals and to the smallest styling details, everything was beautifully considered. Christy created an atmosphere, not just an event.”

— Madison K., Memphis, TN

The work has traveled.

Floral design for Love Is Blind, Season 10. Super Bowl events. The First Lady's Luncheon in Washington, D.C. Galas, productions and private installations across the country and abroad.

Work at that scale runs on someone else's timeline, in someone else's building, with no second attempt. It is a useful thing to know about a designer before you hand her your home.

Houston-based. Not Houston-limited.

Every project begins
just like yours

with a room, an occasion, a feeling. And at CGaia Designs, we make it exist.

Tell us about your project.

Every project begins with a conversation about the space, the occasion and how you want it to feel. The more we understand up front, the better that conversation will be. Complete the questionnaire and Christy will follow up personally.

Depending on the project, the next step may be a phone call, a consultation or an in-person site visit. Interiors and seasonal projects typically begin with an in-home visit.
